Regularly update security updates and patches for your Operating System
Regularly update applications such as Adobe reader, MS Office or other programs
Ensure the Fire Wall is switched on
Ensure you have an up-to-date anti-virus installed
Ensure you have the latest Internet browser version installed, e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox etc.
